About Us

Dewataraya is a progressive rock band from Selangor, Malaysia. They are a 5-piece independent band. Some people described their songs as dark with a lot of rage, but believe it or not, they are very cheerful, fun and loving boys. These boys are Nawi Zharif, Najmi , Aqmal, Emei and Hakim.

 

Dewataraya started in Feb 2019. Throughout the years, they have been experimenting with different styles and sounds. Their sound have maturely-evolved with a lot of technicalities and big choruses that can be chanted along in their songs. 


 

Their album is something that cannot be missed out on. It receives numerous compliments by multiple listeners.
